National & Regions tweaked. States & Counties soon.

Five (5) new openings within the upper leadership.

After the UCRCoA temporary leadership structure was built throughout 2007, the recent month of January was used to finalize and tweak all National and Regional positions into their final places for 2008-2009.  Some non-responsive people were replaced with more active volunteers.  Hopefully, by next January, there will be formal elections initiated in some manner for the 2009-2010 positions, and for keeping in schedule for the same alternating formal elections every six (6) months thereafter.

Available openings include:  (1) a female ROC for Region 1; (2) a male ROC for Region 3; (3) a male ROC for Region 4; (4) a female ROC for Region 6; and, (5) a female ROC for Region 7.  To express your interest in taking over one of these critical roles, please email us asap. First come, first served.

The ten Focus Areas:  just your daily Meat & Potatoes.

Gov't Accountability  |  Family Courts  |  Self-Help Legal  |  Life Issues  |  Politics & Elections  |  Independent Media  |  Property Rights  |  Civil Rights Events  |  Tax Reform  |  Computer Support

As part of the finalization of top UCRCoA leadership, they have all gone through selections and assignments of their own two Focus Areas, which are from the ten general categories of UCRCoA activity, with each briefly described upon the Mission Statement page, and with each having its own UCRCoA webpage, its own dedicated action Yahoo Group for "those" kind of people and "that" kind of reform activity, and its own Focus Area Committee of five National Board Directors and one ROC from each of the seven Regions, for a total team of twelve (12) purposely-diverse, ranking leaders.

The ten Focus Areas are "the meat" of the operations of UCRCoA.  Most of the successes will be created within these "specialized working environments", by all of the known, like-minded movement people that "focus" on that/those particular issues, in that same Yahoo Group, to naturally spark lots of "same thinking" activity. The link to each of these specialized ten Yahoo Groups is on the UCRCoA webpage corresponding to that same Focus Area, and one of the priorities, of all of the National and Regional leaders, is to identify and recuit all of the known "specialists" in their own category of reform, not just within the UCRCoA, but everywhere they are found out there, and gather them into that Focus Area's dedicated Yahoo Group, to naturally create a very productive atmosphere and environment of minds that are generally on the same page, you see. You are also invited to join the Yahoo Group and people now gathering in any Focus Area that also interests you. So, jump right in and help that goal!

JurisdictionaryŽ + UCRCoA = FREE Legal Seminars across the USA!

Thumbmail map. Click here for large map

UCRCoA has just been blessed, big time!  After an extremely fruitful set of recent conversations between Torm Howse and Dr. Frederick Graves, JurisdictionaryŽ is now offering FREE Legal Seminars to all Leaders and Members of UCRCoA, and all of UCRCoA's local friends, simply because of who we are!

Here's the deal... Dr. Graves and his wife are traveling around the country from next week through mid-November, as shown on the colored USA map (click the map for a larger view), with an extended stop in Northern California, and visiting many of the other States for a couple of purposes.  They want to film a lot of Patriotic landmarks, adding their new full-length movie about the Founding Fathers and our American Law, to their star collection of insightful audio and video presentations. See their website, JurisdictionaryŽ, for more great learning tools and resources, all available for your free online review, right now.

During those extended travels across the USA, Dr. Graves is offering to give FREE one-hour Legal Seminars, such as his breathtaking How to Win in Court presentation, the clear and concise God and Government education, and a few others, as he already has plans to be stopping and presenting the same kinds of seminars to churches and civic groups along the way.

To stay informed during Dr. Graves' long travels, and to know when and where he plans to be, subscribe to his newsletter by visiting the JurisdictionaryŽ site, where he will provide further details, and where you can keep up, and even learn the law :)

BUT, especially for all UCRCoA Members, Dr. Graves wants to know where you are located, so he can start now, planning to teach as many of us as he can, including arranging his routes to do exactly that...  meeting you and your local group...  This is a golden opportunity for you to setup the best legal seminar you ever had, and it's free.  Here's the only catch - you just have to mention "United Civil Rights Councils of America" in your talks with Dr. Graves, and he'll know the rest...  Work out a date now.

UCRCoA has a detailed 2008 Events Calendar online for your review and use in planning local, state, regional, and national public events.

Some of the most important upcoming events are linked along the left side of this newsletter.  The next critical step for UCRCoA is March 15 and/or March 16, when all UCRCoA state leaders should gather in one physical meeting location for at least an afternoon or evening. All county team leaders are encouraged to attend the same meetings.

Somewhere between those Get Out The Green statewide meetings and Mother's Day, UCRCoA hopes to finally implement the planned electronic blitz of America's largest social networks, sending potential millions pouring into the county groups everywhere, just in time to have them consider attending our upcoming Regional Conferences planned for Memorial Day Weekend in seven major cities. The state meetings are critical to finishing the last few items necessary to even properly prepare for a potentially-sudden influx of millions of people...

So, what else do I do now?

Biz Card image

If you are already a listed leader anywhere within UCRCoA, then here's a couple of easy things to help grow everything much faster:  use UCRCoA business cards, and also email signatures, in all of your normal dealings with people.  If you are not yet a listed leader for UCRCoA, then check online to see if there is an available position for your State or County.

For the business cards, simply edit the appropriate template after "unzipping" it, using the free DesignPro Limited software from Avery.com, and then edit for your own name, email addy, phone, and etc., as shown on the illustration next to here, and print away.  Click on the illustration for a larger view of the card for a County Team Leader.  All others have the same pattern.

Then, also add your own UCRCoA title/role, and an actual link to the UCRCoA homepage, to all of the "signatures" for your webmail and email addresses.  If you have never created a signature for your webmail or email before, it's very easy, and there are plenty of instructions available online.

There is also a power-packed PDF file called "How 2 Find Local Activists" available for free download in the UCRCoA Members folder.  This little five-page color brochure has easy instructions, plus links, on how to quickly find lots of people right in your own backyard, including activists and others.

And, as always, a reminder for you to join the State or County groups that apply to you.  If you need help, just ask.

Thanks to so many for making "Road2Reform II" a success!

crowd of people image

We ended up traveling an extra 500 miles more than the 3000 miles originally planned, but it was well worth it, because we had the chances to meet and greet with the extra people, too :)

Traveling from Florida up to the Fatherhood Summit in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and back, proved to be not only a real taste of all four different seasons at once, as we ventured from hot, sunny weather in Florida, thru the changing environment, and eventually into snowy, bitter cold temperatures in the midst of Michigan, yet gained all the warmth again by the time we had returned home to Florida, but also provided us with excellent opportunities to hook up with another dozen-plus UCRCoA leaders scattered throughout several other States, including Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina.  We especially want to thank our most helpful leaders Sally Broessel, for the use of her car during the Great Lakes segments, and Stuart Showalter, for also going along and sharing travel, which makes this stuff work!

Special thanks also go to Robert and Angela Pedersen, for putting up with our motley crew over the night of the Summit, and Phil Stanley for his similar offering of accomodations, as well as all of the other UCRCoA leaders, national to local, that came out to visit with us, as we passed through their areas!

UCRCoA leaders, working together, is what makes it work.
